My apologies. The System should actually be long from 1587, and I should have addressed that over the weekend or near the open. Trigone is correct the entry point of 4hr resistance was 1592 and dropping Friday. You can look at the hourly candles yourselves and know the Score was still bullish-to-neutral into Monday morning. This is the danger of trying to make mid-day updates from work on a smartphone. Obviously, this is not a trade I took nor is it something I can commercialize until I either automate it or work from home every day instead of 2-3 days per week. With the Score now neutral, the System will trade long&short at 4hr s/r.Once again I apologize since some of you may be long from 1592 instead of 1587 based in Friday's update.
-------
Score is now neutral so the System will go long at 1597 and short at 1582 (and rising) or potentially both with stops at 4hr s/r. If Vix drops to a new low before SPX makes a new high, the System will not go long since the Score will go bearish. Good fortune.

Hello S2,
ReplyDeleteAgain, congratulations for your system. It yields truly remarkable results.
As in all these types of systematic trading programs, the most difficult is to trust it blindly and trade according to the signals even if they seem counter intuitive at times. But then again, it’s the beauty of it.
Problem is, for us your readers, it is quite difficult to follow it as one needs to be online and check your site regularly for new updates indicating entry, exit and stops.
For example, your April 26th daily update mentioned an entry point at SPX 1592.65. Level which was achieved today before your latest update a few minutes ago.
So anyone following your system would be long earlier at SPX 1592.65 yet, your recent update calls for another entry point at a higher level, 1597.
How was one supposed to know that the previous level had to be disregarded or that the system score was updated ?
I don’t know what kind of feedback you have received but personally I and a few of my friends who have also been following you would be very happy to pay, and quite handsomely I must say, for a service like yours provided it gave me either by email or by sms timely updates of entry, exit and stop points.
Have you thought of commercializing it ? If you are interested in discussing this further, please send me your email so we can have a private talk.
Btw I have been working for one year with my partner and we have developed a systematic program based on technical data that has given exceptional back testing results. We have started real time trading this year and so far it has lived up to its back testing history. So I know exactly what I am talking about when I said earlier that you just have to trust your program without trying to apply human interference to it.
Keep on the great work !
